Ingredients
Scale
1 can refrigerated flaky biscuit dough
0.5 cup cooked shrimp, finely chopped
0.5 cup cooked lump crab meat
1 cup shredded mozzarella or Monterey Jack cheese
2 tablespoons mayonnaise or cream cheese
1 teaspoon garlic powder
Salt, to taste
Black pepper, to taste
1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
1 tablespoon unsalted butter, melted
Instructions
In a mixing bowl, combine the chopped shrimp, lump crab meat, shredded cheese, mayonnaise or cream cheese, garlic powder, chopped parsley, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well blended into a creamy seafood mixture.
Flatten each biscuit round to approximately 4 to 5 inches in diameter. Place 1 to 2 tablespoons of seafood filling in the center of each round. Fold the edges over the filling and pinch to seal, forming a filled biscuit pocket.
Arrange the stuffed biscuits seam-side down on a baking sheet. Brush the tops with melted butter to ensure a glossy, golden crust.
Bake in a preheated oven at 375°F for 13 to 15 minutes, or until golden brown and fully puffed.
Allow the biscuits to rest for several minutes after baking before serving to let the filling set.
Serve warm to enjoy the molten, cheesy seafood center. Offer spicy aioli, garlic butter, or marinara sauce on the side for dipping.
Notes
Use fresh seafood for best flavor.
Feel free to substitute with your favorite cheese.
Ensure biscuits are properly sealed to avoid leakage during baking.
