- Hot dogs (8-10, depending on how many you want to serve)
- Crescent roll dough (1 can; you can also use puff pastry for a flakier texture)
- Mustard (for “blood”)
- Sliced almonds (for fingernails)
- Ketchup (for additional “blood” effect)
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Take each hot dog and cut a small slit near one end to create a “finger” shape.
- Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into triangles. Wrap each triangle around a hot dog, leaving the tip exposed.
- Press a sliced almond into the tip of each wrapped hot dog.
- Place the wrapped hot dogs on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake for 12-15 minutes.
- Remove from the oven, let cool slightly, and serve with mustard and ketchup.
Notes
- Using puff pastry can give a flakier texture if desired.
- For a more dramatic presentation, drizzle additional ketchup on the serving plate.
