A delicious and creamy shrimp fettuccine alfredo that you can easily prepare at home.

Ingredients

  • 8 oz Fettuccine pasta
  • 1 lb Shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 4 tbsp Butter
  • 1 cup Heavy cream
  • 1 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced

Instructions

  1. Cook the fettuccine pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. Sauté the shrimp in a large pan over medium heat until they turn pink and are cooked through. Remove from the pan and set aside.
  3. In the same pan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and cook until fragrant.
  4. Add the heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until well combined.
  5. Toss the cooked pasta and sautéed shrimp in the creamy sauce until evenly coated.
  6. Serve immediately, garnished with additional Parmesan if desired.

Notes

  • For a lighter version, you can substitute half of the heavy cream with low-fat milk.
  • Feel free to add vegetables like spinach or broccoli for extra nutrition.
  • Adjust seasoning with salt and pepper to taste.
