1 lb Ground beef
1 cup Breadcrumbs
1/2 cup Parmesan cheese
1 Onion, finely chopped
2 cloves Garlic, minced
1/2 cup BBQ sauce
1/4 cup Bourbon
1 Egg
1 tsp Salt
1/2 tsp Pepper
1 cup Cheddar cheese, shredded
1/2 cup Bacon, crumbled
2 tbsp Parsley, chopped
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
In a large mixing bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, onion, garlic, BBQ sauce, bourbon, egg, salt, and pepper. Mix until just combined.
Fold in crumbled bacon and shredded cheddar cheese.
Shape the mixture into 1.5-inch meatballs.
Place on a baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes until cooked through.
Brush with additional BBQ sauce in the last few minutes of baking.
Let rest, garnish with parsley, and enjoy!
Notes
For added flavor, use a smoky BBQ sauce.
Make sure not to overmix the meatball mixture to keep them tender.
