A delicious one-skillet meal combining tender steak with creamy garlic butter and zesty buffalo sauce, perfect for quick meals or special occasions.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb steak (ribeye or sirloin)
  • 1 cup orzo pasta
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup buffalo sauce
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Melt the butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Sear the steak seasoned with salt and pepper until cooked to your liking, about 4-5 minutes per side. Remove and let it rest.
  3. Sauté the minced garlic in the same skillet until fragrant.
  4. Add the orzo pasta and toast it slightly for a couple of minutes, stirring often.
  5. Pour in the beef broth, bring it to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer until the orzo is cooked, about 10 minutes.
  6. Stir in the buffalo sauce and any juices from the rested steak.
  7. Slice the steak thinly against the grain and return it to the skillet, mixing well.
  8. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.

Notes

For best results, don’t overcook the steak and use freshly minced garlic.
