  • 2 cups cooked rice (jasmine or basmati)
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped green onions for garnish

Instructions

  1. Heat the oil and butter in a heavy skillet over medium-high heat until melted and bubbling.
  2. Season the scallops with salt and pepper on both sides.
  3. Sear the scallops, gently adding them to the skillet. Cook for 2-3 minutes per side until golden crust forms.
