1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning
1 teaspoon smoked paprika
1 teaspoon garlic powder
½ teaspoon onion powder
½ teaspoon cayenne pepper (adjust for spice level)
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
2 tablespoons lemon juice
¼ cup chopped green onions
Salt and pepper to taste
Fresh parsley, for garnish
Instructions
In a bowl, combine the shrimp, Cajun seasoning, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne pepper, Worcestershire sauce, lemon juice, salt, and pepper. Mix well to coat the shrimp evenly. Let it marinate for about 10-15 minutes.
In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat.
Add the marinated shrimp to the hot skillet. Sauté for 2-3 minutes on one side until they turn pink.
Once the shrimp are pink on one side, flip them over and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until fully cooked.
Stir in the chopped green onions during the last minute of cooking for added flavor.
Remove the skillet from heat and garnish with freshly chopped parsley.
Transfer the shrimp to a serving platter while they’re still hot.
Notes
Adjust the amount of cayenne pepper according to your desired spice level.
