A quick and delightful dish featuring chicken thighs glazed in a sweet and savory Asian-inspired sauce.

  • 4 chicken thighs (bone-in or boneless)
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon ginger, minced
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Green onions for garnish
  • Sesame seeds for garnish

Instructions

  1. Whisk the sauce: In a bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, minced garlic, ginger, and sesame oil.
  2. Season the chicken: Take your chicken thighs and season them with salt and pepper.
  3. Heat the skillet: Preheat a skillet over medium-high heat and add the chicken. Brown on both sides for about 5-7 minutes.
  4. Pour the glaze: Once the chicken is browned, pour your prepared glaze over the chicken and reduce the heat to medium.
  5. Cook until done: Let it simmer for about 15-20 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through.
  6. Garnish & serve: Before serving, garnish with green onions and sesame seeds.

Notes

For a thicker sauce, let it simmer longer. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
