Ingredients
Scale
2 cups crushed pretzels
1/3 cup melted unsalted butter
3 tablespoons granulated sugar
1 cup cream cheese, softened
1 cup whipped cream
3 tablespoons powdered sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 cups fresh strawberries, sliced
1/3 cup strawberry jam
Instructions
In a medium-sized mixing bowl, combine the crushed pretzels, melted butter, and granulated sugar. Mix well until all the pretzel crumbs are coated with the butter mixture.
Press about two tablespoons of the pretzel mixture into the bottom of each serving glass or jar to form the crust. Reserve some mixture for topping.
In another bowl, beat the cream cheese until smooth. Gradually add the powdered sugar and vanilla extract, and mix until well-combined and fluffy.
Gently fold in the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture until smooth and evenly distributed.
Layer the cream cheese mixture over the pretzel crust in the serving glasses. Smooth the top gently with a spoon or spatula.
In a small bowl, stir together the sliced strawberries and strawberry jam until the strawberries are well-coated.
Spoon the strawberry mixture over the cream layer in each glass, ensuring even distribution and an attractive presentation.
Sprinkle the reserved pretzel mixture on top for an extra crunch.
Refrigerate the parfaits for at least 1 hour before serving to allow the flavors to meld and the layers to set.
Serve chilled and enjoy!
Notes
For a sweeter dessert, adjust the amount of powdered sugar in the cream cheese mixture.
This can also be made ahead of time and stored in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.
Feel free to substitute strawberries with other berries or fruits.
