Ingredients
Scale
1 cup creamy peanut butter
1/4 cup soy sauce
2 tablespoons lime juice (freshly squeezed)
2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup
1 tablespoon rice vinegar
1 tablespoon sesame oil
1–2 teaspoons sriracha or red pepper flakes (adjust to taste)
1 clove garlic, minced (optional)
1/2 cup warm water (for desired consistency)
Instructions
In a medium mixing bowl, combine the creamy peanut butter, soy sauce, lime juice, honey or maple syrup, rice vinegar, sesame oil, sriracha (or red pepper flakes), and minced garlic.
Whisk all the ingredients together thoroughly until you have a smooth sauce.
Gradually add warm water, one tablespoon at a time, whisking continuously until you reach your desired consistency.
Taste the sauce and adjust sweetness or spice levels as needed with additional honey/maple syrup or sriracha/red pepper flakes.
Serve the sauce with fresh vegetables, grilled meats, or as a dressing for salads and grain bowls. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to one week.
Notes
This sauce is creamy, nutty, and packed with flavor!
It’s fantastic as a dip for veggies or drizzled over noodles.
Keep a jar handy in the fridge for quick snacks or easy meals.
A thicker sauce is great for dipping; a thinner sauce works well as a dressing.
