A creamy and vibrant dip combining feta, cream cheese, and a tart cranberry sauce, making it perfect for any gathering.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz feta cheese (block in brine, drained)
  • 4 oz cream cheese (softened)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1 clove garlic (minced, optional)
  • 12 oz fresh cranberries
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 0.25 cup water
  • 0.25 cup orange juice
  • 1 tbsp orange zest
  • 0.5 cup pecans (toasted and chopped)
  • 0.25 cup green onions (sliced)
  • 1 tbsp honey (for drizzling on top)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Cranberry Sauce: In a saucepan, blend together the fresh cranberries, sugar, water, and orange juice. Bring the mixture to a boil over medium heat.
  2. Simmer to Perfection: Reduce the heat and let it simmer for 10-15 minutes until the cranberries burst open and the sauce thickens. Remove from heat and stir in the orange zest.
  3. Chill the Mixture: Transfer the cranberry mixture to a bowl and let it cool completely in the refrigerator.
  4. Whip the Feta: In your food processor, combine the crumbled feta cheese, softened cream cheese, olive oil, and honey. Process on high for 3-4 minutes until fluffy.
  5. Create Your Serving Dish: Spread the whipped feta into a shallow bowl or onto a serving platter.
  6. Top It Off: Spoon your cooled cranberry sauce over the feta layer, garnishing with toasted pecans and sliced green onions.
  7. Serve and Enjoy: Pair with crackers, warm baguette slices, or vegetable crudités.

Notes

Can be made ahead by preparing the cranberry sauce and whipped feta a day in advance. Store in airtight containers in the fridge.
