Wingstop Cajun Corn is a deliciously seasoned corn dish that brings a tasty twist to traditional corn on the cob.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 6 ears of corn, husked and cleaned
  • Oil spray (olive oil or avocado oil)
  • 6 tbsp butter
  • 1.5 tbsp Cajun seasoning
  • 1 tbsp paprika
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • 1 tsp dried parsley
  • 3/4 tsp dried thyme
  • 1/2 tsp dried oregano
  • 1/2 tsp brown sugar
  • 3/4 tsp cayenne pepper (adjust for heat preference)
  • 1/4 tsp cracked black pepper

Instructions

  1. Husk and clean each corn cob thoroughly. Cut each ear into 3-4 bite-sized pieces (about 1.5 inches each).
  2. Place corn in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Lightly spray with oil.
  3. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (if required by your model) and cook for 5 minutes.
  4. Flip the corn, spritz the underside with oil, and cook for another 5 minutes at 400°F.
  5. Continue cooking for an additional 1-2 minutes per side until golden brown, rotating as needed (total cook time: ~13-14 minutes).
  6. In a large bowl, melt butter in the microwave (about 10-15 seconds). Whisk in Cajun seasoning until smooth.
  7. Transfer hot corn from the air fryer to the bowl of Cajun butter. Toss well to coat evenly, using a spoon or basting brush to get into crevices.
  8. Serve warm with ranch dressing for dipping.

Notes

  • For extra crispiness, increase cook time by a few minutes.
  • Adjust the cayenne pepper to control spice level.
  • This recipe works well with frozen corn on the cob (thaw first).
  • If you don’t have an air fryer, bake at 425°F for about 20 minutes, flipping halfway.
