A refreshing and crunchy Asian slaw that combines vibrant vegetables with a tangy sesame dressing.

Ingredients

  • 4 cups shredded cabbage
  • 1 cup shredded carrots
  • 1/2 cup sliced green onions
  • 1/4 cup chopped cilantro
  • 1/4 cup rice vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, mix together the cabbage, carrots, green onions, and cilantro.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together the rice vinegar, soy sauce, sesame oil, and honey.
  3. Pour the dressing over the salad and toss to coat.
  4. Sprinkle with sesame seeds before serving.

Notes

  • For a spicier slaw, add some sliced jalapeños or red pepper flakes.
