  • 2 ripe bananas, mashed
  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease your 9×9 inch baking pan.
  2. Combine the mashed bananas and melted butter in a mixing bowl.
  3. Add in the brown sugar, egg, and vanilla extract, mixing until smooth.
  4. Whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt in a separate bowl.
  5. Gradually add the dry mixture to the banana blend, stirring until just combined.
  6. Fold in the chocolate chips.
  7. Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and spread evenly.
  8. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
