A delicious twist on classic banana pudding, layered with creamy pudding, sweet bananas, and crunchy vanilla wafers.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups of vanilla pudding
  • 2 cups of whipped cream
  • 4 ripe bananas, sliced
  • 1 box of vanilla wafers
  • 1/2 cup of milk

Instructions

  1. Mix the pudding: In a bowl, combine the vanilla pudding and milk until smooth. Stir often so it doesn’t stick.
  2. Layer the wafers: In your baking dish, layer half of the vanilla wafers along the bottom. Don’t worry if they don’t fit perfectly; a little overlap is fine.
  3. Add pudding and whipped cream: Next, add half of the pudding mixture followed by half of the whipped cream. Try to spread it evenly.
  4. Banana time: Add a layer of the sliced bananas over the whipped cream. Make sure you cover it well with those sweet slices!
  5. Repeat the layers: Add another layer of the remaining vanilla wafers, followed by the rest of the pudding, whipped cream, and bananas.
  6. Final touch: Finish with a thick layer of whipped cream on top. Trust me, this is where the magic happens.
  7. Chill: Cover it with plastic wrap and chill in the refrigerator for at least 120 minutes before serving. It thickens more as it cools, making it easier to slice.

Notes

Chilling is key; don’t skip this step for the best flavor and texture.
