A delightful blueberry bread that’s perfect for breakfast, snacks, or desserts, filled with fresh blueberries and easy to make.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups fresh blueberries

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven: Set that to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×5 inch loaf pan.
  2. Mix dry ingredients: In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  3. Mix wet ingredients: In another bowl, mix the melted butter, milk, eggs, and vanilla extract until well combined.
  4. Combine: Pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients. Stir just until combined—don’t overmix!
  5. Fold in blueberries: Gently fold in those beautiful blueberries.
  6. Pour batter: Scrape the batter into your greased loaf pan.
  7. Bake: Pop it in the oven and bake for 60-65 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  8. Cool it down: Let it cool in the pan for about 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

For best results, let the batter rest for a few minutes before adding blueberries. Avoid overmixing to prevent a dense loaf.
