A delightful pasta dish that combines the classic flavors of a Big Mac with the freshness of a summer salad.

Ingredients

  • 8 oz pasta (rotini or bowtie)
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/2 cup plain yogurt
  • 2 tbsp yellow mustard
  • 1 tbsp white vinegar
  • 1/2 cup diced pickles
  • 1/4 cup chopped onion
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce
  • 1 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Boil the pasta according to package instructions. Make sure to salt the water, then drain and let it cool.
  2. Cook the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat until fully cooked. Stir often and drain excess fat.
  3. Make the dressing by mixing mayonnaise, yogurt, mustard, vinegar, pickles, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  4. Combine the cooled pasta, beef, onion, lettuce, tomatoes, and cheese in a large mixing bowl. Toss well and pour the dressing over the mixture.
  5. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving cold.

Notes

Best served cold. Add water or extra yogurt if the salad is too thick.
