A deliciously rich dessert combining buttery toffee, crunchy pecans, and smooth chocolate, perfect for any gathering or cozy night in.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 2 cups pecan halves
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • Sea salt (to taste)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Melt the butter and brown sugar in a medium saucepan over medium heat, stirring until it boils.
  3. Add pecans and cook for 3-5 minutes until thick and caramelized.
  4. Pour the mixture onto the prepared baking sheet and spread it evenly.
  5. Bake in the oven for 10-12 minutes until bubbling and edges are golden brown.
  6. Remove from the oven, sprinkle with chocolate chips, and let sit for a few minutes to melt.
  7. Spread the melted chocolate evenly over the toffee.
  8. Sprinkle with sea salt.
  9. Cool completely before breaking into pieces and enjoy!

Notes

For best results, keep stirring the butter and sugar to avoid burning. If the toffee cools too much, pop it back in the oven to soften.
