A comforting and hearty casserole filled with seasoned ground beef, creamy cheese, and tender egg noodles, perfect for family dinners.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 8 oz egg noodles
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs (optional for topping)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Brown the ground beef and chopped onion in a large skillet over medium heat until evenly browned, then drain excess fat.
  3. Mix the browned beef, cooked egg noodles, cream of mushroom soup, milk, and half of the shredded cheddar cheese in a mixing bowl until well combined.
  4. Transfer the mixture to a greased 9×13 inch baking dish and spread evenly.
  5. Add the remaining cheese on top and sprinkle breadcrumbs if desired.
  6. Bake for about 25-30 minutes until bubbling and golden.
  7. Cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

For a lighter option, substitute ground beef with ground turkey or chicken. You can also customize by adding your favorite vegetables.
