Delightful chocolate and peanut treats that are quick and easy to make, perfect for snacks or gifts.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups milk chocolate chips or chopped milk chocolate
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil or shortening (optional)
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)
  • 2 1/2 cups salted dry roasted peanuts

Instructions

  1. Melt the chocolate: In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the milk chocolate chips, semi-sweet chocolate chips, coconut oil (if using), and vanilla extract (if using). Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until the chocolate is fully melted and smooth.
  2. Mix in the peanuts: Once your chocolate is ready, stir in the salted dry roasted peanuts until fully coated.
  3. Drop onto a baking sheet: Using a spoon, drop spoonfuls of the mixture onto a lined baking sheet with some space in between.
  4. Let them set: Allow the clusters to cool and harden at room temperature or refrigerate for a quicker cool-down.
  5. Store or gift: Once set, store them in an airtight container or gift as a festive treat.

Notes

For best results, stir often while melting the chocolate and allow clusters to cool completely before moving.
