A festive showstopper dessert featuring a crunchy meringue shell topped with creamy whipped cream and vibrant mixed berries.

  • 4 large egg whites
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon white vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 1 tablespoon powdered sugar
  • Mixed berries (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries) for topping

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 250°F (120°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Beat the egg whites in a mixing bowl until stiff peaks form.
  3. Gradually add the granulated sugar, continuing to beat until the mixture gleams and the sugar fully dissolves.
  4. Fold in the white vinegar and cornstarch to stabilize the meringue.
  5. Spoon the meringue mixture onto the prepared baking sheet, shaping it into a round disc about 8 inches in diameter.
  6. Bake for 1 hour, then turn off the oven and let it cool completely inside.
  7. Whip the heavy cream with powdered sugar until soft peaks form.
  8. Spread the whipped cream over the top of the pavlova, and top with mixed berries.
  9. Serve immediately and enjoy!

Ensure mixing tools are clean for optimal egg white whipping. Avoid moisture while storing leftovers.
