Churro Cheesecake Bars

An indulgent fusion of creamy cheesecake and crispy churros, these bars are easy to make and perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

  • 2 (8 oz) packages cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar (for the cheesecake filling)
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 (8 oz) cans Pillsbury crescent dinner rolls
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar (for topping)
  • 2 Tbsp ground cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Mix the cinnamon sugar by combining 1/2 cup of sugar and 2 tablespoons of cinnamon in a small bowl.
  3. Blend the cream cheese until smooth, then add the sugar, egg, and vanilla; blend until creamy.
  4. Prepare your baking pan with non-stick spray and sprinkle half of the cinnamon sugar mixture on the bottom.
  5. Roll out one can of crescent dough and press it into the bottom of the pan.
  6. Spread the cream cheese filling evenly over the dough.
  7. Roll out the second can of dough and place it over the cream cheese layer.
  8. Sprinkle the remaining cinnamon sugar on top.
  9. Bake for about 30 minutes, checking for doneness.
  10. Cool in the pan before cutting into squares.

Notes

Serve with whipped cream or ice cream. Store in an airtight container for up to 4 days.
