Fluffy and sweet cinnamon roll dessert bars that are quick to make and perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoons milk (for glaze)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract (for glaze)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease your baking pan.
  2. Combine the flour, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt in a large bowl. Stir well!
  3. Add in the softened butter, milk, eggs, and vanilla extract. Mix until everything is combined and smooth.
  4. Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and spread it evenly.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown. A toothpick inserted in the center should come out clean.
  6. While the bars are baking, mix the powdered sugar, milk, and additional vanilla extract in a bowl to create the glaze.
  7. Once the bars are done, let them cool for a few minutes before drizzling with glaze. Enjoy!

Notes

Let the bars cool a bit before cutting to help them hold their shape. Consider adding nuts or chocolate chips for variation.
