  • 1 box yellow cake mix
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 4 ounces cream cheese
  • 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoons heavy cream

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease that 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. Blend the yellow cake mix, eggs, milk, and oil until smooth.
  3. Pour the batter into the prepared dish and bake for about 28 to 32 minutes.
  4. Let the cake cool for about 10 minutes and poke holes all over the cake.
  5. Melt the butter and mix in brown sugar, cinnamon, sweetened condensed milk, vanilla extract, and salt.
  6. Pour the cinnamon filling over the warm cake.
  7. Beat the cream cheese until smooth, then mix in powdered sugar and heavy cream.
  8. Drizzle the glaze over the cake and let it rest for 20 minutes before slicing.

Notes

Use real butter and cream cheese for the best flavor. You can add nuts or raisins for added texture.
