Delightful and chewy blondies topped with a cinnamon sugar crust, perfect for any occasion.

  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar (for topping)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease your 9×13 inch baking pan.
  2. Combine melted butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar in a large bowl.
  3. Add the eggs and vanilla extract, mixing until smooth.
  4. Whisk together flour, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt in a separate bowl.
  5. Combine the dry mixture gradually with the wet ingredients, mixing just until combined.
  6. Pour the blondie batter into the prepared pan and smooth the top.
  7. Topping time: mix remaining sugar and cinnamon, sprinkle it over the batter.
  8. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  9. Cool before cutting into squares.

Notes

Letting the blondies cool helps firm up their structure. Refrigerating them for a couple of hours deepens the flavors.
