  • 1 cup butter, softened
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease and flour your bundt pan.
  2. Cream together the softened butter and sugar in a large bowl until light and fluffy, about 3-5 minutes.
  3. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  4. Mix in the vanilla extract.
  5. Combine the flour and baking powder in another bowl, then gradually add this to the creamed mixture, alternating with the milk.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared bundt pan, tapping gently to release air bubbles.
  7. Bake for 60-70 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  8. Cool in the pan for 10 minutes before turning out onto a wire rack to cool completely.
