A quick and flavorful meal with tender chicken, bright broccoli, and creamy parmesan in a tangy lemon butter sauce.

  • 8 oz. bowtie pasta
  • 2 large chicken breasts, boneless and skinless
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • Juice from 1 lemon
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • Fresh parsley, chopped for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook the bowtie pasta in salted boiling water according to package instructions, adding the broccoli florets in the last few minutes. Drain and set aside.
  2. Sauté the minced garlic in melted butter over medium heat until fragrant, about 1-2 minutes.
  3. Cook the chicken breasts, seasoned with salt and pepper, until golden brown and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes per side.
  4. Combine the lemon juice, cooked pasta, and broccoli in the skillet, mixing well.
  5. Serve with grated parmesan cheese and chopped parsley on top.

Notes

Don’t rush the garlic to avoid burning it. Stir often when adding pasta and broccoli to prevent sticking.
