Delicious Crab Rangoon Bombs with a crispy exterior and creamy crab filling, perfect for snacks or appetizers.

Ingredients

  • 1 package of wonton wrappers
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup cooked crab meat
  • 2 green onions, finely chopped
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp soy sauce
  • Oil for frying
  • Sweet and sour sauce (for serving)

Instructions

  1. Mix the filling: In a bowl, mix together the cream cheese, crab meat, chopped green onions, garlic powder, and soy sauce. Stir well until everything is combined.
  2. Prepare the wontons: Place about a teaspoon of the mixture in the center of each wonton wrapper.
  3. Seal them up: Moisten the edges of the wrapper with a little water and fold it over to seal.
  4. Heat the oil: In a frying pan, heat the oil over medium heat.
  5. Fry them up: Fry the wontons in batches until golden brown and crispy, about 2-3 minutes per side.
  6. Drain and serve: Use a slotted spoon to remove the wontons and let them drain on paper towels.

Notes

Make sure to seal the edges well to prevent leaking during frying. Feel free to customize the filling with veggies or different proteins.
