  • 1 lb Italian sausage, casings removed
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Cook the rigatoni according to the package instructions until al dente. Be sure to stir often so it doesn’t stick together. Once done, drain and set aside.
  2. Brown the Italian sausage in a large skillet over medium heat until browned, breaking it apart as it cooks for about 5-7 minutes.
  3. Add minced garlic to the sausage and cook for an additional minute until fragrant.
  4. Pour in the chicken broth and bring it to a gentle simmer.
  5. Mix in the heavy cream and Italian seasoning, stirring until well combined.
  6. Combine the cooked rigatoni with the sauce in the skillet until evenly coated.
  7. Add Parmesan gradually, stirring until it melts and creates a creamy sauce.
  8. Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley.
