A nostalgic yet modern dish featuring egg noodles in a rich and creamy sauce, reminiscent of school cafeteria lunches.

  • 8 oz egg noodles
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Cook the egg noodles according to the package instructions until they’re al dente. Drain them and set aside.
  2. Melt the butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
  3. Add the heavy cream and bring it to a gentle simmer, stirring to prevent scorching.
  4. Stir in the Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until well combined and the cheese melts.
  5. Toss in the cooked egg noodles until fully coated in the sauce.
  6. Heat for an additional 2-3 minutes until everything is heated through.
  7. Garnish with chopped parsley if desired and serve warm.

Notes

For best flavor, use freshly grated Parmesan cheese. Adjust seasoning to taste.
