Delicious cruffins filled with creamy cheese and raspberry jam, wrapped in flaky puff pastry.

Ingredients

  • 1 package of puff pastry (thawed)
  • 1 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Raspberry jam (your favorite brand)
  • 1 egg (beaten for the egg wash)
  • Flour (for dusting)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Roll out the puff pastry on a lightly floured surface and cut it into rectangles (about 3×5 inches).
  3. Mix the cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract in a bowl until smooth.
  4. Spread a layer of the cream cheese mixture on each rectangle of pastry, then add a spoonful of raspberry jam on top.
  5. Roll the pastry tightly and place the cruffins upright in a muffin tin.
  6. Brush the tops with the beaten egg.
  7. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
  8. Let cool slightly before serving.

Notes

Adjust jam quantity based on sweetness preference. Allow to cool slightly to avoid burning your tongue.
