A comforting one-pot dish featuring gnocchi, sausage, cream, and spinach, perfect for chilly nights.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound gnocchi
  • 1 pound Italian sausage
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup spinach
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

Instructions

  1. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add the Italian sausage and cook until browned, breaking it apart as it cooks.
  3. Stir in the minced garlic and cook for another minute until fragrant.
  4. Add the gnocchi and pour in the heavy cream, stirring well to coat.
  5. Bring to a simmer and cook for 5-7 minutes until the gnocchi is tender.
  6. Stir in the spinach and Parmesan cheese, cooking until the spinach is wilted and cheese is melted.
  7. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  8. Serve hot and enjoy!

Notes

Don’t rush the browning of the sausage for better flavor. Stir often to prevent the gnocchi from sticking.
