Delicious and healthier alternative to traditional fried chicken, perfectly crispy in the air fryer.

Ingredients

  • 2 chicken breasts
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 egg
  • Cooking spray

Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Mix the breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper in a shallow bowl.
  3. Beat the egg in another bowl.
  4. Dip each chicken breast into the egg, allowing excess to drip off, then coat it in the breadcrumb mixture.
  5. Spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray and place the chicken in a single layer.
  6. Cook for 15-18 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and cooked through (internal temperature should be 165°F or 74°C).
  7. Serve warm and enjoy!
