Delicious and crispy roll-ups filled with gooey cheese, perfect for a cozy snack or a fun appetizer.

Ingredients

  • Soft white or whole wheat bread
  • Cheddar cheese (or mozzarella, gouda, pepper jack)
  • Unsalted butter (or garlic-infused butter)
  • Tomato soup or marinara sauce for dipping

Instructions

  1. Flatten the bread using a rolling pin until about ¼ inch thick.
  2. Add a generous slice of cheese in the center of each piece of flattened bread.
  3. Roll the bread tightly around the cheese, sealing it well.
  4. Heat a skillet over medium heat and add a tablespoon of butter.
  5. Cook roll-ups seam side down for about 2-3 minutes until golden brown.
  6. Serve with warm tomato soup or marinara sauce for dipping.

Notes

Make ahead by assembling roll-ups and storing them in the fridge for a few hours. Use an air fryer for a healthier option.
