These creamy Dulce de Leche Cheesecake Bars are a delightful treat, combining rich cheesecake and sweet caramel for a perfect dessert.

  • 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 2 (8-ounce) packages cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup dulce de leche
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 325°F (160°C) and grease your baking dish.
  2. Combine graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and 1/4 cup of sugar in a mixing bowl.
  3. Press the crumb mixture firmly into the bottom of the prepared baking dish for a sturdy crust.
  4. Beat the cream cheese until smooth; add dulce de leche, sour cream, and sugar, mixing until creamy.
  5. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition, then stir in the vanilla extract.
  6. Pour the cheesecake filling over your crust and spread it out evenly.
  7. Bake for 30-35 minutes, until the edges are set and the center jiggles slightly.
  8. Cool completely and refrigerate for at least 4 hours before slicing into bars.
  9. Serve chilled, drizzled with extra dulce de leche if desired.
