Delicious and versatile chicken lettuce wraps perfect for quick meals, easy snacks, or special occasions.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground chicken
  • 1 can water chestnuts, diced
  • 1 cup mushrooms, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon hoisin sauce
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Butter lettuce leaves

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, heat the sesame oil over medium heat.
  2. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until it’s fragrant.
  3. Toss in the ground chicken, breaking it apart with your spatula. Cook until it’s browned, about 5-7 minutes.
  4. Stir in the diced water chestnuts, chopped mushrooms, soy sauce, hoisin sauce, rice vinegar, salt, and pepper. Mix everything well.
  5. Cook for an additional 5-7 minutes, letting all the flavors meld together.
  6. Spoon the chicken mixture into the butter lettuce leaves and serve immediately.

Notes

Use fresh butter lettuce for the best experience. Adjust the seasoning to your taste.
