  • 1 large onion, sliced thin
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Burger buns (soft and squishy)
  • Cheese slices (optional)
  • Condiments like ketchup, mustard, or your favorites

Instructions

  1. Heat the skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Caramelize the onions, stirring often for about 10 minutes.
  3. Season the ground beef with salt and pepper and divide into large balls.
  4. Smash each ball onto the skillet to form patties.
  5. Cook for 3-4 minutes until edges brown, then flip.
  6. Finish cooking for another 3-4 minutes.
  7. Assemble the burgers on buns with caramelized onions and condiments.

Notes

Don’t overcrowd the skillet for crispy patties. Allow caramelization of onions to enhance sweetness.
