Easy Ravioli Lasagna

A comforting and cheesy dish that combines the best of ravioli and lasagna, perfect for busy weeknights.

Ingredients

  • 1 package refrigerated ravioli (cheese or meat)
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh basil for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Spread a layer of marinara sauce at the bottom of a baking dish.
  3. Layer half of the ravioli on top of the sauce.
  4. Spread a layer of ricotta cheese over the ravioli.
  5. Sprinkle a layer of mozzarella cheese on top.
  6. Repeat the layers with the remaining ravioli, ricotta, and mozzarella.
  7. Finish with marinara sauce and a topping of mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
  8. Season with Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  9. Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes.
  10. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes until bubbly and golden.
  11. Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
  12. Garnish with fresh basil before serving.

Notes

For best results, let the lasagna rest after baking to thicken up. Feel free to customize with vegetables or different cheeses.
