A simple and flavorful dish that transforms ordinary rice into a vibrant Spanish delight.

Ingredients

  • 1 can (15 oz) tomato sauce
  • 4 cups chicken or vegetable broth
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Olive oil (for sautéing)

Instructions

  1. Sauté the garlic in olive oil until fragrant.
  2. Stir in the rice and toast for 2-3 minutes.
  3. Add the tomato sauce and broth along with paprika, cumin, salt, and pepper.
  4. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer.
  5. Cook for about 20 minutes or until fluffy, then let sit covered for 5 minutes.
