Deliciously crispy fried green beans that make a perfect snack or appetizer, served with a variety of dips.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound fresh green beans
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • Seasonings (salt, pepper, garlic powder)
  • Oil (for frying)
  • Ranch dressing (for serving)
  • Spicy mayo (for serving)
  • Garlic aioli (for serving)

Instructions

  1. Trim and blanch the green beans in boiling water for about 2 minutes.
  2. Prepare the breading station with flour, beaten egg, and breadcrumbs mixed with seasonings.
  3. Coat each green bean in flour, then egg, and finally breadcrumbs.
  4. Heat oil in a frying pan over medium-high heat.
  5. Fry the breaded green beans for 3-4 minutes until golden brown, stirring often.
  6. Drain on paper towels and serve immediately with your favorite dips.

Notes

For the best results, make sure the oil is hot enough before frying and do not overcrowd the pan.
