A warm and hearty dish that combines savory beef, crisp cabbage, and cheesy goodness, topped with crunchy Fritos.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef (or turkey)
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 head green cabbage, chopped
  • 1 can diced tomatoes (14.5 oz)
  • 1 can kidney beans (15 oz), drained and rinsed
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 bag Fritos corn chips
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: taco seasoning to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
  2. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic, cooking until softened (about 3–4 minutes).
  3. Stir in the chopped cabbage and cook until wilted, about 5 minutes.
  4. Add the diced tomatoes and kidney beans; mix well.
  5. Season with salt, pepper, and taco seasoning (if using). Cook until heated through, about 3–5 minutes.
  6. Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese right on top and let it melt.
  7. Serve hot, topped with crunchy Fritos.
