Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup glutinous rice flour (mochi flour)
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup water

  • Cornstarch for dusting

Instructions

  2. Add the mango puree and mix well.
  3. Pour the mixture into a microwave-safe dish and cover it with plastic wrap.
  4. Microwave on high for about 1-2 minutes, or until sticky and slightly translucent.
  5. Dust a clean surface with cornstarch and turn out the mochi dough onto it.
  6. Allow it to cool slightly before dividing into small pieces, shaping into balls or flattening.
  7. Dust with more cornstarch to prevent sticking and serve immediately or store in an airtight container.

Notes

Use ripe mango for the best flavor. Dust generously with cornstarch to avoid sticking.
