A delightful breakfast sandwich featuring fluffy pancakes, savory sausage, and melty cheese, drizzled with maple syrup.

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 1/2 cups milk
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • Maple syrup
  • Sausage patties
  • Cheese slices
  • Eggs

Instructions

  1. Blend the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt in a large mixing bowl until well combined.
  2. Whisk together the milk, egg, and melted butter in a separate bowl until smooth.
  3. Pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients and stir until just mixed.
  4. Heat your skillet over medium heat.
  5. Pour 1/4 cup of batter onto the skillet for each pancake.
  6. Wait until small bubbles form on the surface before flipping; cook until golden brown on both sides.
  7. Assemble your McGriddle by layering a pancake, sausage patty, cheese slice, and cooked egg, then top with another pancake and syrup.
  8. Serve immediately while warm.
