  • 1 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 1/2 cup chopped jalapeño peppers (optional for spice)
  • 1 package (1.75 oz) fruit pectin

Instructions

  1. Combine the chopped sweet peppers, sugar, and apple cider vinegar in a large pot.
  2. Heat the pot over medium heat, stirring often to avoid burning.
  3. Add chopped jalapeño peppers if using.
  4. Bring the mixture to a rolling boil, then add the fruit pectin.
  5. Stir constantly for 1-2 minutes until the mixture thickens.
  6. Pour the hot jam into sterilized jars using a funnel.
  7. Cool completely before sealing the jars.
