- 1 stick (½ cup) unsalted butter
- 2 oz unsweetened baking chocolate
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- ¼ cup all-purpose flour
- ¼ tsp salt
- Optional toppings: whipped cream, vanilla ice cream, chocolate syrup, or chopped nuts
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9-inch pie dish or line with parchment paper.
- In a saucepan over low heat, melt the butter and unsweetened chocolate together. Stir until smooth, then remove from heat.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the sugar and eggs until light and slightly fluffy.
