Hot Fudge Pie is a rich and indulgent dessert featuring a chocolate filling that’s both gooey and fudgy.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 stick (½ cup) unsalted butter
  • 2 oz unsweetened baking chocolate
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • ¼ cup all-purpose flour
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • Optional toppings: whipped cream, vanilla ice cream, chocolate syrup, or chopped nuts

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9-inch pie dish or line with parchment paper.
  2. In a saucepan over low heat, melt the butter and unsweetened chocolate together. Stir until smooth, then remove from heat.
  3. In a large bowl, whisk together the sugar and eggs until light and slightly fluffy.
  4. Stir in the vanilla extract and the melted chocolate mixture.
  5. Gently fold in the flour and salt until just combined. Do not overmix.
  6. Pour batter into the prepared pie dish and smooth the top.
  7. Bake for 25–30 minutes, until the edges are set but the center is still slightly gooey.
  8. Let cool for 10–15 minutes before serving warm.

Notes

  • For extra indulgence, serve with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream.
  • This pie is best enjoyed warm for the gooey texture.
  • Can be made ahead and reheated before serving.
