Delicious and fluffy Korean Chicken Bao Buns filled with savory chicken and topped with fresh green onions and sesame seeds.

  • 2 cups of cooked chicken, shredded or chopped
  • 1/2 cup of Korean-style barbecue sauce
  • 1 teaspoon of sesame oil
  • 46 bao buns
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon of sesame seeds
  • Cucumber slices for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Mix the Chicken: In a bowl, combine the cooked chicken with Korean barbecue sauce and sesame oil. Mix well to coat the chicken evenly, and set it aside.
  2. Steam the Buns: While that chicken is hanging out, steam the bao buns according to package instructions until warm and fluffy.
  3. Fill the Buns: Now, it’s time to get that chicken into the bao buns! Fill each bun generously with the chicken mixture.
  4. Top and Garnish: Sprinkle the chopped green onions and sesame seeds on top. Add cucumber slices as a garnish if you like.
  5. Serve Hot: There you go! Serve them up hot, and enjoy!
