25 Oreo cookies wafers & filling
5 tablespoons unsalted butter melted
8 ounce cream cheese
¾ cup powdered sugar
2 cups whipped topping thawed
10 Oreo cookies chopped
Instructions
Crush the Oreo cookies in a food processor or in a ziploc bag with a rolling pin.
Mix the crushed cookies with melted butter.
Press into the bottom and up the sides of a 9 inch pie plate, using the bottom of a glass cup to help.
Place the crust in the fridge while preparing the filling.
In a large bowl, beat the cream cheese and powdered sugar together until soft.
Fold in the whipped topping and then the chopped Oreo cookies.
Spoon the filling into the pie crust and smooth the top.
Chill in the fridge for at least an hour before serving.
Notes
To Store: Store leftover pie covered in the fridge for up to 4 days.
To Freeze: Wrap in plastic wrap and store in the freezer for up to 1 month. Defrost in the refrigerator before serving.
You can crush Oreo cookies in a blender or food processor or use a Ziploc bag with a rolling pin.
A store-bought 9-inch Oreo cookie crust can be used as a substitute.
Use a dry measuring cup to press cookie crumbs into the pie dish for a uniform thickness.
