Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine ground turkey, minced garlic, oregano, cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  2. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly distributed—gently but thoroughly.
  3. Preheat a grill or grill pan over medium heat and oil the grates lightly.
  4. Shape the turkey mixture into kabobs on skewers, pressing evenly so they stay together.
  5. Grill the kabobs for about 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally, until they are golden brown and cooked through.
  6. Use a thermometer to confirm an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
  7. Serve the kabobs with pita bread, fresh salads, and creamy yogurt sauce.
