  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup cocoa powder
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 8 oz cream cheese
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup salted caramel sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking pan.
  2. Melt the butter in a large bowl and mix in the sugars until smooth.
  3. Stir in the cocoa powder, eggs, vanilla extract, and salt until well combined.
  4. Add the flour and mix until just incorporated.
  5. Pour half of the brownie mixture into the prepared pan.
  6. Beat together the cream cheese, powdered sugar, and sour cream until smooth.
  7. Spread the cheesecake mixture over the brownie layer.
  8. Drizzle the remaining brownie batter on top.
  9. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out mostly clean.
  10. Allow to cool and drizzle with salted caramel sauce before serving.

Ensure cream cheese is at room temperature for optimal mixing. Let salted caramel cool before adding it to avoid melting the cheesecake layer.
