  • 6 large eggs
  • 2 cups milk
  • 8 slices of bread, cubed
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook the sausage in a large skillet over medium heat until browned and crumbled; drain excess fat.
  3. Whisk together eggs, milk, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder in a bowl until blended.
  4. Layer cubed bread in a greased 9×13 inch baking dish, followed by cooked sausage and sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese.
  5. Pour the egg mixture evenly over the layered ingredients.
  6. Bake for about 30-35 minutes, until the casserole is set and golden brown on top.
  7. Cool slightly before serving.
